These two prints which were issued by Kawaguchi-Shozo (), 4-chome, Ginza, Yedo are each signed Ichi-yu-sai-Hiroshige ().
They show a very free and yet careful brush work. They are perhaps the author's first landscape paintings. From the tone and style, it appears that they were produced in the first year of Tempō (1830). The first prints have decorative borders (See Illustration). But these borders are omitted in later editions. These two and the following eight plates make a set.
